Characters Present[]

Character Introduced[]

Synopsis[]

When Angelica splatters her room with paint in a fit of anger, Charlotte calls the mess a work of art and hires Angelica to redecorate Chas' den. When the adults react favorably to this as well, Angelica is entered into an art contest. But will the judge of the contest be as impressed when her methods are revealed? - Description from Klasky Csupo

Summary[]

Angelica apparently has real talent as an artist. However, not everyone thinks that is so. In addition, her "talent" has a hidden secret.

Trivia[]

  • Chuckie is seen in the art fair coloring a book with his right hand. It is shown that he is left-handed in a later episode, "Chuckie's a Lefty".
  • One of Charlotte's choices of wallpaper is the Quaker Oats mascot done in the style of Andy Warhol, which Chas says would definitely scare Chuckie, a reference to the running gag of Chuckie being scared of "the guy on the oatmeal box".
  • Charlotte equates Angelica's artwork with Jackson Pollock.
  • Moral: Don't take credit for someone else's work

Goofs[]

  • When Angelica says "Come on" when Chuckie is hesitant about decorating Chas' den, her teeth are discolored pink instead of white.
  • In the shot where Didi first appears, she isn't wearing her lipstick, unless she moved her lips inside her mouth.
  • Chuckie is seen in the art fair coloring a book with his right hand despite the fact that he's left-handed as seen in a later episode, "Chuckie's a Lefty".
  • The description of the episode from Klasky Csupo is inaccurate in that it says that the adults react favorably when Angelica splatters Chas' den, when in the actual episode, Chas is the only adult (aside from Charlotte) in the den and he screams in horror that his den is a mess. Charlotte then tells Angelica that he "wasn't angry" and "he just doesn't understand fine art".
  • Drew was credited despite not being in this episode or its sister episode, Potty Training Spike.
  • When Charlotte first applauds after Angelica and the babies' 'work' is revealed, she seems to be missing her ponytail.
